American missionary arrested for assaulting hotel employee ‘who hates Jesus’ – VIDEO
Police in Uganda have arrested a man caught on camera verbally and physically assaulting an employee of Grand Imperial Hotel in Kampala.
The assailant is said to have attacked hotel employee because he had ‘disgraced Jesus’.
This arrest was confirmed by Don Wanyama, the Senior Press Secretary to President Yoweri Museveni, via his Facebook page.
“Jimmy L. Taylor, the American citizen caught on camera assaulting a worker at Grand Imperial Hotel in Kampala has been arrested. He is currently detained at the Central Police station,” Wanyama said.
This message was accompanied by a short clip showing the white man in handcuffs, being led to a police station by someone who appeared to be a plainclothes policeman.
Wanyama shared this message a couple of hours after another video of the American man went viral on social media showing him repeatedly assaulting the employee whose identity has not been made public.
In the four-minute clip, the assailant – who has been identified as an American Missionary – is seen assaulting his victim with blows. The man however remains calm throughout the incident.
The American missionary is heard saying, “You are not a human. You hate Jesus? You hate yourself? You hate me? I am not gonna tolerate no more. Jesus is not gonna tolerate.
At some point he turns to the person filming the incident and shouts “Yeah, film me!”
He then turn on his victim and continues throwing punches at him while uttering obscenities and unprintable words.
Not even the appearance of what appears to be a security personnel holding a walkie talkie in hand is enough to deter the assailant.
“This man hates Jesus, he hates Jesus… I cannot understand.”
Interestingly, another companion who is off camera and is probably the one filming this whole episode, keeps on urging the victim to maintain his calm.
The white man then ends the message with a message; “Uganda has come under condemnation, because they have hated themselves and they have hated Jesus Christ.”
