Ali Kiba promises to sing collabo with Kenyan look-alike

Bongo artist Ali Kiba has acceded to a request to do a collabo with his Kenyan look-alike, Nasizu, an unknown artist from Meru county.

Nasizu had last week wowed the audience at Churchill Show with a rendition of Ali Kiba’s latest hit ‘Mwana‘.

The Tanzanian musician was so impressed by what he saw and acknowledged that “not only does Nasizu perform like him, but he also looks like him.”

And when Nasizu was given a chance to ask Ali Kiba a question, he instead requested the Tanzanian superstar for a collabo.

Ali Kiba was at first obstinate, insisting that that was not a question, but the undeterred singer from Meru’s Majengo slums persisted. Co-host Mc Jessy joined the push and eventually Ali Kiba obliged.

The two then sang Kiba’s Cinderella song, as if to seal the deal.

Little is known about Nasizu, but he was discovered by Churchill during the show’s county edition in Meru where he had auditioned to perform.

Churchill later promised to get him a brand manager and make him a superstar.

Ali Kiba, who has been in the country for the Coke Studio Show,  also announced plans to do collabo with Kenyan all male band Sauti Sol.
