Man abandons firearm after being caught pants down
Police are investigating an incident where a man left behind an illegal firearm in a house at Songa, Marsabit County after being found having sex with somebody’s wife.
County Commissioner Peter Thuku said an M16 rifle and four rounds of ammunition was recovered after the owner of the house reported the matter to the police.
The suspect who is still on the run was found having sex with the woman by the husband who had returned home at around 8 pm.
The man slipped out and ran for dear life leaving the gun behind.

The outraged husband destroyed the illegal gun by breaking it into six pieces before informing the police.
Mr Thuku said police are looking for the suspect whose identity is known and appealed to members of the public to assist in apprehending him.
The county commissioner added that detectives are investigating the source of the gun.
The administrator called for the respect of institution of marriage which is the cornerstone of the moral fabric in society. Mr Thuku called for men to stop cohabiting with other people’s wives.
