Aboud Omar invited for trials in Greece

Aboud Omar says he will work twice as hard to impress and eventually get the chance to play in Europe.

The Kenya international who has been handed a month long trial at Greek top tier side Iraklis 1908 FC starting July 1, was exclusively speaking to Nairobi News at the Greek Embassy in Nairobi, from where he has gone to apply for a Visa.

“This is one chance I will work twice as hard to not let go. I wish to represent Kenya in Europe and win honours in such a competitive and popular league such as that in Greece,” the former Tusker FC and Bandari defender said.

The left fullback, who is first choice defender with the national team, is also being tracked by a number of clubs in Zambia.
