Abdalla kicked of out Ingwe’s den

AFC Leopards first team assistant coach Abdalla Juma has parted ways with club. Juma’s exit comes in the wake of a separate decision by the team’s administrators to release six players including Khaleed Juma, Charles Okwemba, Kennedy Wendo, Godfrey Kegode, Oscar Kadenge and Augustine Etemesi at the end of this month.

Juma, who has previously handled Thika United and Congo United, only joined Leopards eight months ago from Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB).

He now joins assistant goalkeeping trainer Washington Muhanji in Leopards’ rejects list. Both officials have been relieved of their duties with immediate effect.

TALKS TOO MUCH

“We are interviewing Tim Bryett, Salim Ali and Yusuf Chippo for the assistant coaching role,” Leopards Orgnising Secretary Timothy Lilumbi told Nairobi News.

According to sources within the club, Abdalla was dismissed because he reportedly “talks too much” while Muhanji, a former Kenyan international is said to have “grown old”.

Leopards finished the 2014 Kenyan Premier League season in seventh position down from second the previous season.
