Detective have launched investigations into the sudden death of Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery.

Scene of crime detectives on Saturday pitched tent at Nkaissery’s home in Karen Hardy, Nairobi.

The investigators were piecing together the CS’s last moments.

The first team arrived at the minister’s home in the morning and was joined by a different team at around 3pm.

The entrance to the house was cordoned off and journalists kept out of the premises.

REMAINED SHUT

The gate to the house remained shut with limited access to police officers and close family members.

Some of those who visited the home are Kajiado North MP Joseph Manje, Garissa Senator Yusuf Haji and Former Kibwezi MP Kalembe Ndile.

Friends who had arrived to console the family were also kept waiting outside the premises pending police investigations.

A separate team of investigators camped at the Bomas of Kenya, one of the places late Interior CS Joseph Nkaissery visited on Saturday night before his death.

Bomas, a tourist destination that displays traditional villages belonging to the several Kenyan tribes in Langata, Nairobi, was cordoned off as a crime scene.
