The battle for the Kenyan hip hop crown is raging on as rappers in the country continue to scuffle over who is superior in the hard hitting genre.

Rapper Visita from the Grandpa stable is the latest artiste to stake claim to the throne. The Mapepo hitmaker has just released a brand new song titled The Kingmaker featuring singer Nessa.

This comes after rappers Juliani, Khaligraph Jones and Rabbit released dis tracks in the unfolding beef that began on social media under the hashtag WhoisKing.

“I’m the Kingmaker and everyone who claims to be the King should shut up because I will decide who the king is,” he says.

Activist Boniface Mwangi also took to his Twitter account and gave voice to the ongoing rap battle tweeting; “Kenya King wa Hip Hop Ni Nani? @JulianiKenya @KHALIGRAPH @OCTOPIZZO @RabbitTheKing I will give whoever wins the contest #WhoIsKing Sh50,000,”
