Kanze Dena in tears as she leaves Citizen TV for State House job – VIDEO
Newly appointed State House deputy spokesperson Kanze Dena wept during her final Citizen TV news bulletin on Sunday.
Kanze, who anchored her final bulletin with her long time co-anchor Lulu Hassan, was treated to a surprise farewell ceremony by her colleagues at Royal Media Services.
Her favourite gospel singer Mercy Masika was invited to perform her Mwema hit that Kanze passionately sang along to.
Kanze broke down in tears as she urged viewers to be faithful to God to receive his favour and blessings.
Her parting shot; “Ukiwa mwaminifu kwa Mungu pia yeye atakuwa mwaminifu kwako.”
Online, one Kenyan penned down reasons as to why Kanze needed to cry out as she ended her 15 year TV career.
