10 to benefit from China scholarships
Ten students from Nairobi will receive scholarships from the Chinese government.
In his twitter handle, Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero announced that Beijing Municipal Education Commission yesterday confirmed that it would support the learners.
“This is part of the discussions we had with Mr Liu Qi, the Secretary of the China Beijing Municipal Committee when he visited Nairobi last year,” he said.
Interested students will be required to apply to colleges in Beijing, which include Capital Normal University, Beijing University of Technology, Beijing International Studies University and Capital Medical University.
