Jua Kali artisan wins Sh900k after correct predictions on Betway
A self-employed Jua Kali artisan is the latest big winner winner of leading sport betting site Betway.
Joseph Awino won their largest possible multi-bet prize of Sh900,000, after placing Sh50 and chanced his luck on 12 games in the Uefa Champions League, the Spain Amateur Tercera Division and the English Football League Trophy.
Joseph has been betting with Betway Kenya since October 2016 and has been a frequent sport and casino gamer.

He says, upon getting the notification of his big win, he was in disbelief but immediately became excited about the possibilities to better his life.
“Joseph placed the minimum bet and won the maximum amount! This goes to prove that anybody can be a winner from just a single bet,” said Wanja Gikonyo, Betway Kenya’s Country Manager.
She emphasized that Betway advocates for responsible gaming by advising the gamers to do extensive research before betting and to use what they can afford to bet, not as means of livelihood, but for recreation purposes.
