In Kasarani, Mirema spring estate, James Nyaga reported to police that he went home and found his wife Norallium Kambua lying on the floor dead.

According to police report, Mr Nyaga went home in the evening and knocked the door but got no response. He then decided to peep through the window and saw his wife on the floor, having fallen in the bathroom where she was washing clothes.

In another police case in Mlango Kubwa, a man committed suicide after booking a room in a hotel room on Thursday.

The hotel’s cleaners called the police after the occupant refused to open the door and his phone went unanswered. The police forced the door open and found the body of the deceased.

The man identified as Robert Ndova Kilonzi aged 39, is suspected to have taken his life by drinking insecticide.  A suicide note dated Wednesday was found with an empty bottle of Lava insecticide, a photocopy of his identification card and a pen.
