Uhuru’s sharpshooter hits bullseye at lavish wedding – PHOTOS


Presidential Escort Unit’s Edward Legei, who is an acclaimed shooting champion, wedded his girlfriend Rose Lenkupae on Saturday.

In a Maasai traditional themed event, Legei, a four-time winner in the Kenya Open Shooting Championship, had his guests dressed in red and white Maasai attire, a dress code that was clearly captured in the invite.

The traditional ceremony which was held at Chumvi in Timau, Nanyuki saw the shooting champ drop his gun for a traditional walking stick with his newly bagged trophy, bride, beside him.

Legei won the Kenya Open in 2001, 2003, 2008 and 2013 a title that is currently being held by the Anti-Stock Theft Unit’s Loyford Mutegi.

Donning Maasai regalia and their heads covered in red ocher, Legei and Rose posed with their bridal party during their photo shoot in the wild.

Legei’s boss, President Uhuru Kenyatta, was however conspicuously absent during the event.
