Policeman shot dead in Eastleigh matatu hijack
An Administration Police sergeant was on Sunday morning shot dead after a matatu he was travelling in was carjacked on Juja Road.
Sergeant Abdiaziz Hussein of Eastleigh Airbase Chief’s Camp succumbed to his injuries after being shot in the incident at St Teresa area at about 11 am.
Police said the AP officer, who was shot at three times, had finished his duty and was leaving for his house in Eastlegh when he boarded the matatu for the ill-fated journey.
