Drama as police arrest tout at Mwiki bus terminus – VIDEO
Drama unfolded at a city bus terminus on Wednesday afternoon when three plain clothes police officers forced their way inside a matatu to flush out and arrest a tout.
The police officers claimed that the tout was a thief although they didn’t say what the tout had stole.
A crowd that gathered at the scene jeered and protested over the arrest as three officers from Mwiki police station tried to drag him to their waiting car.
The matatu in which the tout was arrested is registered with Mwiki Sacco and plies the City center-Mwiki route. The fate of the tout after he was thrown in the back of the police car remains unknown.
