Nairobians poke fun at Kidero’s #MakingNairobiGreat campaign
Nairobi governor Dr Evans Kidero’s effort to champion his development track record in the city through a campaign on social media has backfired with his hashtag going viral for the wrong reasons.
Thanks @KideroEvans for #MakingNairobiGreat . Your idea of greatness leaves alot to be desired though. pic.twitter.com/2xLzgL9im3

On Tuesday the #MakingNairobiGreat was trending on Twitter with most city residents criticizing the governor and asking him to outline his development agenda for the city.
Kidero is a failure, the legacy he’ll leave is being the only governor to have fought both his senator and women rep. #MakingNairobiGreat

A good number of Twitter users were of the opinion that the city boss has failed and that he doesn’t deserve a second term.
We won’t be #MakingNairobiGreat by having an administration that ignores business neighborhood like Eastleigh. pic.twitter.com/CsMtkqmnVZ

Uncollected garbage that litter most estates in Nairobi, blocked sewer systems and harassment of hawkers and traders within the CBD by the county government officials are some of the grievances that most Twitter users faulted Kidero’s administration for.
We cannot say #MakingNairobiGreat with such images 4yrs down the line. Vote for change #Migunamiguna2017 pic.twitter.com/nP2emFBiN3
