Mothers lash out at woman who fooled her child with dead pose challenge – VIDEO
Kenyan mothers online have lashed at a mother who in a viral video fooled her son as part of the ongoing dead pose challenge.
In the video the mother is seen lying motionless on a staircase as her little son wails and tries to wake her up.
It is unclear if the camera was set before the mother pulled off the stunt or if someone recorded the child wailing uncontrollably.
In the dead pose challenge that has featured online users from across the African continent have been taking photos in which they look dead with some even using props and effects associated with death.

The challenge has been trending in Nigeria and South Africa with even celebrities participating.
The clip of the mother’s challenge angered Kenyan mothers who accused the woman of traumatizing her child.
Dot Waweru said, “Not fair at all for such a young mind. This is a terroristic act!”
Muthalankari Kanje commented, “Hehehe… wangu hapendi ujinga… he can slap the hell out of you to make sure you are not dead.”
