Moses Kuria draws more public anger with offensive gesture

Embattled Gatundu South MP, Moses Kuria, has stoked more controversy with a photo showing him displaying his middle finger in court.

The picture, which has since gone viral on social media, was taken when the controversial legislator, alongside 7 other MPs, was arraigned in court on Monday for charges of hate speech and incitement.

Mr Kuria has been the subject of public condemnation after a video in which he allegedly calls for the assassination of Cord leader, Raila Odinga emerged.

The MP’s latest goof has further irked Kenyans on Twitter who expressed their displeasure with the lawmaker’s conduct.

Mr Kuria, who is infamous for hate speech, has another case pending for incitement to violence after he urged some of his constituents in 2015 to slash opponents of the National Youth Services programmes with machetes.
