Man stabbed to death in a bar fight at popular Eastlands joint
A man was stabbed to death at a bar in Nairobi on Tuesday night.
Witnesses said the two men were drinking together at Jam Rescue bar located along Jogoo road.
The victim died on the spot.
Buruburu DCIO Jeremiah Ikiao confirmed the incident to Nairobi News, adding the assailant escaped after the incident.
“The two men were seen drinking together before a quarrel ensued and they both walked out (of the bar) and one of them stabbed the other before he escaped,” Mr Ikiao said.
The police are yet to establish the cause of the fight and are looking for the assailant.
The body of the victim was later taken to Nairobi City mortuary.
