Goons masquerading as anti-IEBC demonstrators were caught on video looting groceries outside a Nairobi hotel on Wednesday.

They were caught on tape looting sodas outside Antonio’s Restaurant, next to Holy Family Basilica cathedral, before being dispersed by anti-riot police.

There are reports that the goons also attacked pedestrians and stoned a vehicle on Kenyatta Avenue.

Business premises in CBD were closed quickly and office workers peeped from windows as the protesters taunted police to throw more tear-gas at them.

They made a dramatic entry into the city centre, but some made detours and started robbing pedestrians, while the rest marched to IEBC head office at Anniversary Towers.

National Police Service spokesman George Kinoti has called on anyone who may have been assaulted, robbed or suffered losses of any nature during the anti-IEBC demonstrations to report to the nearest police station.
