Hallo there,

As we give this week a cold shoulder literally, for all the political drama that we experienced, let’s distract ourselves with something more fashionably interesting.

The rains have not decided to pour yet and so we can continue to reserve our warm jackets, trench coats and boots until the Lord says otherwise.

It’s a no brainer that the cold shoulder style also known as the off-shoulder style has been trending this season. You can’t miss a chance to see them on the red carpet, fashion shows, and as you walk down the streets of Nairobi.

The cold shoulder style is characterized by their ability to tastefully reveal some skin around the neck and arms without showing too much.

The great news is that this style does not discriminate on any body type from slender to curvy…. go ahead gal and show them some cold shoulder.

The most amazing thing is the fact that our local designers are not slacking when it comes to embracing this style. There is so much creativity as they custom make this designs with Ankara (African Print) to suit individuals personal taste and preference.

I appreciate the fact that they are so functional, chic and edgy. They can also be styled casually or formally. So I hope to see more of this trend out there. What are your thoughts in regards to this style?
