Former Athletics Kenya Boss Isaiah Kiplagat dies in city hospital
Former Athletics Kenya boss Isaiah Kiplagat died on Wednesday aged 72 after losing a battle with cancer.
Mr Kiplagat died at a city hospital where he was undergoing treatment for cancer and other complications, according to close family source.
The deceased had been at the helm of the country’s most successful sports body for the better part of the last three decades.
He was, however, serving suspension imposed by Athletics international body, IAAF, at the time of his death.
