Boda boda rider beaten, left for dead after stabbing ex-lover
A couple has been admitted in hospital in Embu after the man stabbed the woman in a case of love gone sour.
The man, a boda boda operator, sustained serious injuries from an attack by members of the public after be stabbed the woman three times with a knife.
According to eye witnesses, the man confronted the woman near the Embu bus park where she sells various items and stabbed after a brief argument during the 6pm incident on Thursday.
The screams of the victim attracted members of public who descended on the man and beat him mercilessly.
ATTACKED
Matatu operators at the busy termini rushed the woman to Tenri Children Hospital where she was admitted and is recuperating.
The man was only saved from the irate mob by Administration Police officers. The law enforcers however had a difficult time trying to restrain the crowd which was baying for the man’s blood.
The man was later taken to Embu Level Five Hospital where he is receiving treatment.
The two are said to have cohabited for a long time before going separate ways last December and that the man has on several occasions attacked the woman at her place of work.
