Biggest Burger Festival comes to Nairobi – VIDEO

A full seven-day bliss awaits lovers of burgers in Nairobi when the inaugural edition of Nairobi Burger Festival comes to town between May 30, 2016 and June 5, 2016.

Over 80 restaurants will take part in the week-long festival during which dinners will enjoy 2 juicy burgers for the price of one.

The only requirement will be for dinners to download a free Burger Passport and present it on their phones (or in printed copy) when visiting any participating restaurants.

On Thursday, the festival organizers, EatOut Kenya put together a preview of the event at Urban Gourmet Burger at Westgate Mall, one of the participating restaurants, where tasty burgers were on offer.

DINNING CULTURE

EatOut will team up with Golden Fry as the title sponsor and Carlsberg as the beer partner of the event.

“We love putting on festivals like this. We’re proud to bring great value to consumers and hope that people will step out and enjoy a couple of new restaurants and of course revisit a few old favorites,” Michele Slater, the general manager at EatOut Kenya, said.

Kenya Tourism Managing Director, Jacinta Nzioka Mbithi, termed the festival as a “true testament to the growth of the Kenyan dinning culture.”

“Festivals such as these are encouraging Kenyans and visitors to step out and sample world class cuisine right here within our city’s very best restaurants,” she said.
