Why adulterous fantasies during sex is good for your relationship

Having adulterous fantasies during sex may strengthen a relationship.

This is according to a recent study that found that acting on cuckolding fantasies can be a largely positive experience for many couples.

“Cuckolding” or “cucking” is when a man and his partner derive sexual pleasure from the woman having sex with men who are not her partner.

Some couples take the fantasies to a different level by watching their partners being unfaithful.

According to the study that was conducted by David Ley, Justin Lehmiller and the writer Dan Savage and published on CNN, the act is not a sign of weakness but serves to strengthen relationships.

CUCKOLDING

During the study, men were found to be the ones who get aroused by the idea of their partners having sex with someone else.

“Men are more likely to fantasize about cuckolding, and they do it more often but there are a number of women who have these fantasies as well, which points to the need for more research focused on women’s cuckolding desires,” Lehmiller said.

For couples who do decide to move forward, it’s important to take things slow.

“The reality of watching your spouse have sex with someone else – or knowing they’re doing it, if you’re not there is often very different than the fantasy. It can dredge up powerful emotions, so take baby steps and keep talking and communicating,” said Savage.
