Nairobi tout melts hearts after helping grandma find her way in CBD
A Nairobi tout is getting rare praise after helping a grandmother to cross busy roads in the city centre and board a connecting bus to her next destination.
What heartened many was the manner the young tout carried the old lady’s bag and held her hand as they crossed roads the noisy, traffic-laden roads.
A woman, name Doris Smith, shared the picture of the two online and simply wrote, “Kind people still Exist.”
She added that the young tout was a blessing in the matatu industry and an exceptional person.
“Yesterday while in town I could not fail to notice the young man help this grandma alight from a matatu where he is a conductor. He went ahead to help her cross the busy streets of Nairobi while carrying her bag. He took her to connect the bus to her next Destination and saw him run back to his matatu which had already left.”
She added: “This lady could not hide her joy as she was boarding the next bus. May God bless you young man and may God connect you to your Destiny helpers too.”
