Why this couple is trending on Election Day
It is Election Day in Kenya and as early as 6am long queues could be seen in different polling centres across the country, however this is not what is trending on social media.
It started out with netizens sharing varied pictures of men cuddling their young ones in the hope of being allowed to vote immediately and not to stand in the long lines.
What caught the eyes of most Kenyans on social media is a picture of a family at a polling station adorning attires that reflect the Kenyan flag.
The picture of a man and a woman in the company of their young child all wearing clothes bearing the Kenyan flag and colours has been shared widely online.
