Do you remember Alhajj Abdi Aziz Aden from Korogocho slums in Nairobi who was suffering from a cancerous brain tumour and who knew his death was coming after Doctors in India failed to operate on him after conducting several tests and found out that he would not survive any surgery. He also went to Mecca for Hajj. We all supported and prayed for Abdi Aziz Aden throughout this difficult journey, we all loved him so much but it seems God loved him more than all of us. Unfortunately and sadly, Abdulaziz has gone to be with God and was laid to rest today at the Langata muslim cementry. On behalf of my family and the Great people of Nairobi county I convey my condolences to his family and relatives during this difficult moment. INNAHLILLAHI WAINAHLILLAHI RAJUUN. We will miss him so much.

Mr Aden’s problems began four years ago when he fell and hurt his knee while trying to board a matatu.

The wound on his leg was not treated properly and the leg was later amputated after doctors at Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH). During the amputation, doctors found that he had bone cancer.

A few months later, he learnt that the cancer had spread to the rest of his body.
