KOT poke fun at soon to be launched ‘UberChoppers’
Online taxi transportation network Uber is set to launch a new product called UberChoppers that will see its users enjoy helicopter rides in the country.
In a statement by the taxi company said it had partnered with Corporate Helicopters to be able to offer the service that is due for launch on on September 4.
“On Sunday, September 4, we’re bringing scenery and sky-high style to you at the tap of a button with UberCHOPPER,” read part of the statement.
Uber launched their taxi services in Nairobi last year and has so far spread to Mombasa and Thika.
Kenyans on twitter were quick to put their sense of humor at work, making the hashtag #UberCHOPPER popular on twitter.
