Jemimah Wanjala Ingutia, an employee with a local insurance company, became the latest 5 number winner after winning Sh 125, 857 with an entry she made just 6 minutes before the start of the Pambazuka National Lottery live show on Easter Sunday.

The elated mother of two from Langata in Nairobi was more than happy to have won especially during the Easter season and attributes her luck to her ability to take a leap of faith by participating minutes before the draw.

“I played using my husband’s phone since mine had gone off and I am glad I didn’t let my lucky moment slip by. I will share the winnings with my family and friends in the spirit of Easter,” said an elated Jemimah while speaking to Pambazuka National Lottery officials.

This comes after Pambazuka National Lottery recently unveiled its new SMS platform, 79 649, that is aimed at ensuring its growing number of consumers can conveniently access its services from across the country.
