How we escaped Pangani bombers
A city MP has told how he and police chief David Kimaiyo narrowly escaped the Pangani car bomb blast.
He spoke out as bomb disposal experts were checking a car believed to be packed with grenades found abandoned nearby, outside Don Bosco school.
Kamukunji MP Yusuf Hassan revealed that the suicide bombers were headed to Eastleigh estate where he and the police Inspector General were to appear on a TV programme.
The TV show, Jeff Koinange Live, was believed to be the bombers’ original target.
