Former presidential aspirant to be buried this weekend


A former presidential aspirant in the 2013 general election will be buried at his home in Machakos county this weekend.

Chris Matata Musyoka died last week in a gristly accident along Waiyaki Way.

He contested for the presidency on a Party of Democratic Unity ticket.

He was however locked out of the race  after showing up ten minutes late at KICC to be cleared by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).

He had arrived at the venue at 4.10pm, claiming he had been waiting for his turn at his office in Loita Street. This was just as IEBC Chairman Issac Hassan was addressing the media on the clearance of eight other presidential aspirants.

Mr Musyoka was the proprietor of Capital Bridges Investments and Chris Financial Services.

He is survived by his wife and daughter will be buried in his home in Kisau, Machakos county on May 24.
