Emotions high as Mwakazi leaves Citizen TV
Citizen TV’s Johnson Mwakazi hosted his final breakfast show today morning.
He had prepared a farewell message in his usual poem format during the show’s inspirational moment’s segment.
As it was being aired, his colleagues Kirigo Ngarua and David Makali became emotional.
The duo bid their co-presenter farewell as the station’s editor Mercy Oburu presented him with a parting gift – a portrait of himself.
Mwakazi promised his fans that he will still grace their TV sets albeit in a different media house.
Sarabi band also sang Mwakazi a farewell song as his fans tweeted their farewell messages.
