British singer Ellie Goulding is in Kenya for the third UN Environment Assembly.
The singer was on Saturday named the Global Goodwill Ambassador for UN Environment.
The ceremony was held in at the Giraffe Manor in the leafy suburbs of Nairobi, where UN Environment has its headquarters.
Ellie was surrounded by giraffes while taking up her new role and she shared the breathtaking images on her Instagram that enjoys a following of over 14 million users.

The Love me like you do singer also toured the Maasai Mara on Sunday ahead of the assembly’s opening on Monday.
“I am totally inspired by my return to Kenya. The wildlife I’ve seen so far and the people I’ve met have been unforgettable, life changing and very motivating to make change in the world,” Goulding wrote on Instagram.
