Chameleon to perform at StarTimes Kung Fu festival in Nairobi

Ugandan musician Jose Chameleon is among star performers at the first ever StarTimes Kung Fu festival and family day event at KICC, on November 5.

The Tubonge hit maker will perform alongside Kenya’s music heavyweight Jua Cali, Tdat among others.

The event, which is organized by pay television company StarTimes Media, will be graced by ten Kung Fu masters from Beijing China.

Local Kung Fu clubs will benefit from training programmes from the Chinese martial arts experts while Kenya’s three Kung Fu experts will go to China for a fully paid training for a week at The Beijing International Arts school.

“We want to create an awareness about this sport in Kenya and over five teams across the country will take part at the festival. It will be a family day too, that’s why we are bringing top musicians to perform at the event,” StarTimes Kenya Communication Manager said.

“Ugandan top performer Jose Chameleon and Jua Cali will be the star attractions. And entry will be absolutely free and the events starts from 10am – 6pm,” he added.
