The shift dress has captured my body and soul effortlessly. I’m guilty of owning more than two pieces in my closet in different colors.

This trend was highly popular in the year 2016 and I think 2017 won’t be an exception. Also known as a slip dress this timeless classic flatters just any body type exuding a feminine silhouette.

Its versatility goes beyond your imagination as it can be won in almost any occasion or event. You just need to perfect the art of styling it accordingly.

To the office, add a blazer and you are ready to face the day. Dinner, lunch dates or picnics with friends and weddings.

Just select the perfect pair of shoes to compliment it depending with the event. Its fit is perfect and modest enough to be won to church or any decent ceremony.

I would recommend this style to any pregnant lady too. Apart from the comfort it offers, it would come in handy if you want to keep the pregnancy a secret until you are ready to make the big announcement.

I fell in love with the statement neck-piece attached to this particular number. Its color compliments that of the dress which happens to be sky blue.

Another unique aspect about this specific piece when you look closely is that it is tailored to mimic the high-low style. The fabric is also very comfortable as it is cotton in texture.

Do you have a soft spot for this trend too? If not are you ready to shift your style to accommodate the shift dress?

Give me your thoughts in the comment box below. I won’t rant much about my shoes and bag but I’m sure they did the dress some justice.
